MeKayla & Brandon

Sign OurGuest Book

It was a beautifully overcast day. MeKayla got ready at a cabin 'Bosworth Bungalow' on Lake Bosworth outside of Snohomish and Brandon was with the guys at the venue 'Lookout Lodge' off Newberg Road.
As we brought the girls from the cabin to the venue we stopped a few places to take in the rustic scenery…and a moment to trespass.
Brandon’s mom, Danielle Erickson is an interior designer but took this opportunity to go all out with all the details for their big day!
Ivory rose petals lined the aisle that led to an alter crafted for the ceremony by MeKaylas grandfather. The reception tent had details galore. Baskets with balloons netted inside, vintage bottles, a carousal horse, gold drapes and the perfect amount of vintage book accents.
There were many seating areas for photo opportunities both posed and candid. The ring toss and milk bottle throwing, followed by cotton candy and popcorn kept both young and old entertained in between the ceremony and reception. The candy bar was not only sweet but colorful and just plain pretty to look at.
Danielle had all the details of the menu and the coffee bar written in unique places along with maps for the venue cleverly hung to show the layout of the area.
The tent where the dancing started had a ceiling full of vintage umbrellas as well as mini lights with the added ambiance provided by ping pong balls over top of the lights.
The grounds lent itself to beautiful photos. Fields, grass and the beginning of fall colors!
MeKayla and Brandon are so in love and their vows were said with such conviction you know this young love will last a lifetime.
As they visited with their guests, they took time to enjoy dancing with each other and friends. They left to a sparkler exit and are now enjoying married life!!
